Comet 4c - Texture Baking - Pedestal

I have just finished reworking the pedestal with baked textures. All the top surfaces had been layed out on a UV map anyway, and use fairly high resolution artwork; but the sides of the pedestal, the various consoles, housings, as well as all the levers and switch gear had to be unwrapped too.

(Above) The throttle console and engine start panel. Immediately above the start panel is the mechanical undercarriage indicator.

Note that the crew could have either white light or red light. I’ve made the baked textures with a warm white, as it would be from tungsten filaments, so that they can be used in daylight, with dynamic lighting. X-Plane’s built-in spot lights in red (see
15/10/2009).
